NHS Human Services Joins CareerXroads

nhsThis week we’re proud to welcome NHS Human Services as our newest CareerXroads colloquium membership company.  A nearly 50 year old company, NHS is at the forefront of providing care and services to people with special needs.  Today, NHS is one of the largest community-based, non-profit education and human services organizations in the country where more than 10,000 staff provide care to almost 40,000 adults and children throughout multiple states.

With a headquarters based in Lafayette Hill, PA USA the talent acquisition teams based in multiple states are responsible for the hiring of thousands of uniquely qualified healthcare professionals every year.  We hope that our current CareerXroads Colloquium members will take a moment to connect and welcome the NHS Talent Acquisition Leader, Shelton DuVall.

Shelton crossed over in to healthcare five years ago after roughly 6 years in IT recruiting at companies like Allegis Group and NumericLink.  With nearly 4 years at AmeriHealth Caritas and now closing in on his first full year at NHS, he’s anxious to help contribute and learn from other experienced professionals within our colloquium.

Chris Hoyt

A veteran of recruiting and HR, Hoyt is a sought-after speaker with presentations including national conferences with SHRM, LinkedIn, HR Technology and others in the USA as well as iRecruit, Australasian Talent Conference and more abroad. Chris has been promoting and leading full scale and enterprise-wide integrations of social media and mobile marketing within workforce strategies for his entire career. His expertise and passion for interactive/social recruiting, candidate experience, and both national and international recruiting strategies are all areas that Hoyt now leverages as co-owner and President at CareerXroads, a Recruiting/Staffing consulting and think tank organization that works with corporate leaders from around the world to break out of traditional recruitment practices and push the envelope in an effort to win the ongoing war for top talent.
